Windows Support ~ Adding/Changing UniData Users

 

 

Click START ~ ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS ~ USER MANAGER

Select USER then NEW from the top menu

enter login ID (usually the person's initials)

enter the person's name in box provided

enter a password (twice in the boxes provided)

click the check boxes for "User cannot change password" and "Password never expires"

the other check boxes should be blank

Click on the GROUPS button

scroll down the list in the right hand box of groups until UniData is showing

Click on UniData in right hand box

Click ADD

Click OK

under policies select user rights

under 'Right' select 'log on locally'

add user to list in 'Grant To:' window

 

IMPORTANT:

for new users you must also setup the default login and security information in UniData. This information is contained in files maintained by CONDOR. Please call for instructions
